Los Angeles: In an effort to assist the public in avoiding possible traffic congestion during the visit of the Vice President of the United States on October 13 through October 14, 2016, the following areas of the city should be avoided when possible to prevent travel delays for community members:

Thursday, October 13, 2016 The area around Pershing Drive between Westchester Parkway and Imperial Highway from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The area around Imperial Highway between Vista Del Mar & North Sepulveda Boulevard from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The area around Wilshire Boulevard between South Sepulveda Boulevard & Malcolm Avenue from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

The area around Lindbrook Dr. / Hilgard Ave. between Westwood Boulevard & Le Conte Avenue from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

The area around Hilgard Ave. / Lindbrook Ave. between Le Conte Avenue & Westwood Boulevard from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The area around Wilshire Boulevard between Malcolm Avenue & South Barrington Avenue from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

The area around San Vicente Blvd. between Wilshire Blvd. & 21st Street (City of Santa Monica) from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Friday, October 14, 2016 The area around Hilgard Ave. / Lindbrook Ave. between Le Conte Avenue & Westwood Boulevard from 5:30 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.

The area around Wilshire Boulevard between Malcolm Avenue & South Sepulveda Boulevard from 5:30a.m. – 7:00 a.m.

The area around Culver Boulevard between the CA-90 West Freeway & Vista Del Mar from 5:30 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.

The area around Pershing Drive between Culver Boulevard & Imperial Highway from 5:30 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.

NO CLOSURES / RESTRICTIONS (no bus routes impacted by the hard closures)
