Man Murdered Walking in the Crosswalk NR12043lp
Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Operations West Bureau Homicide (LAPD OWB) detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of a suspect (s) who killed an unknown male Hispanic victim on Council Street and Beverly Boulevard.
On January 24, 2012, at 3:15 p.m., the victim was crossing the crosswalk when an unknown suspect(s) shot him in the torso. Unknown suspect(s) fled the intersection on foot.
The Los Angeles Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. The victim has not been identified as investigators are still waiting for family to come forward.
