Pacific Division Goals
Pacific Area recognizes its immense responsibility to all those who visit, work, or reside in our Division. In 2011, we will maintain our focus on violent crime. This includes the three predatory turf gangs as well as the violent criminal youth who call Venice Beach their home. With the same intensity, creativity, and tenacity, we will attack property crimes.
Each of Pacific’s goals either directly or tangentially point toward a team of dedicated officers committed to their communities, their jobs, and each other. But success will also be measured in the growth of community meetings, the deepening of community understanding, and the proliferation of trust and good will. Our goals will be achieved only when officers work ethically, conscientiously, and compassionately. To that end, our apprehension of the lawless will be guided by our reverence for the law.
