Candlelight Vigil and Walk in Rampart Area

Rampart Area Community Leaders, Neighborhood Watch Groups

Los Angeles - On Thursday, May 10, 2001, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department Rampart Area Community Police Station will host a "Candlelight Vigil Walk" to venerate the continued good work done by Rampart Area police officers. The Candlelight Vigil Walk is also a stand against crime and celebration of the police and the community working together to reduce crime and the fear of crime in Rampart Area.

The event will host a number of Rampart Area Neighborhood Watch Groups and members from the associated surrounding communities. We anticipate approximately 100 to 150 community members will participate.
