WHY:         
Over the past several months, Rampart Area has been experiencing an enormous amount of street robberies in and around the Alvarado Corridor.  The suspects are usually young male Hispanics, who target male and female Hispanic victims at all hours of the day and night.  

At the news conference detectives will address the recent robberies in addition to crime prevention tips and will have photographs of robbery suspects who have been recently arrested for street robberies in Rampart Area.
