Detective’s Looking for the Motive for Murder NR12366kr

Los Angeles: A murder that occurred early Monday evening and claimed the life of a 33-year-old man has detectives searching for a motive.

On July 30, 2012, around 6:15 p.m., Ivan Meza Pedroza was in the 2100 block of West Bellevue Avenue with a friend when they met up with a third man, the suspect, who is known as “Chucky.”  Pedroza and the suspect began talking and moments later the suspect took out a handgun and shot Pedroza.

Los Angeles Fire Department Personnel responded and pronounced Pedroza dead at scene.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect and provide information about this murder.
