WHY:
To offer a $50,000 reward for information leading to the identity, arrest and prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Aniya Knee Parker.

On October 2, 2014, at 2:58 a.m., Aniya Parker, a transgender female, was in the area of Melrose Avenue and Kenmore Avenue.  Parker had a verbal dispute with 3 male Hispanics, approximately 20-25 years of age.  The verbal dispute escalated into an altercation and Parker was shot.  Parker died at a local hospital after being treated for the injuries received.
