Unidentified Victim Discovered in Trunk of Burnt Vehicle

Friday, September 24, 1999

Rampart Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a male of unknown age or descent.

On, Thursday, September 23, 1999 at approximately 10:45 P.M., The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in front of 163 North Alexandria Avenue. When the fire was put out, the body of the victim was located in the trunk.

The investigation revealed the victim had been shot numerous times with an unknown caliber handgun. The vehicle was a late model Acura which had been reported stolen a week prior.

The body of the victim was burned to the extent that a descent or age could not be determined. The motive for the crime is not know at this time.
