Burglary Suspect Attempts to Sexually Assault Victim

Thursday, September 9, 1999

On Wednesday, September 9, 1999 at approximately 3:30 AM, a suspect entered the open, unlocked window of the residence located in the 7000 block of Hazeltine Avenue. The suspect took property from the couple living in the apartment. The suspect armed himself with a knife from the kitchen and entered the bedroom where the female victim was sleeping alone. The suspect attempted to force the victim to orally copulate him. The male victim heard the noise coming from the bedroom and confronted the suspect who fled the residence with the property.

The suspect is described as a male possibly Black, 6'0" tall, 180 pounds, in his late 30's, dark skin with light facial hair.
