Wednesday, September 13, 2000



"Murder Suspects Remain At Large"

Los Angeles--- On September 12, 2000, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Carl Bluett, a 46-year-old African-American male, exited and was leaving a business in the 12000 block of Central Avenue. As he left the location, an unknown number of suspects using an unknown type vehicle fired several shots at Mr. Bluett. Mr. Bluett was struck (several times) by the gunfire and fell to the ground. The suspects then fled from the scene in an unknown direction. Los Angeles City Paramedics arrived and pronounced Mr. Bluett dead at approximately 11:45 p.m.

Little is known regarding this incident and the suspects. The motive for the shooting is also unknown and the suspects are still outstanding.
