"$50,000 Reward for Double Murder Suspect"

San Pedro: The Los Angeles Police Department Harbor Area will be conducting a press conference on Wednesday, September 27, 2000 at 3:30 p.m. in front of Harbor Station, 2175 John S. Gibson Boulevard in San Pedro.

On Thursday, January 6, 2000 at approximately 11:35 p.m., Mr. Jonathan Logan, 22 years of age, Mr. Ulysses Scott, 32 years of age were sitting on the porch of a residence in the 500 Block of West 15th Street when three male Hispanic suspects approached and engaged them in a conversation. One of the suspects pulled out a firearm and shot both Mr. Logan and Mr. Scott. Both victims died from their injuries. The three suspects then fled the location.

The City of Los Angeles is offering a reward of $50,000 for information leading to the identity, arrest and prosecution of the person or persons responsible for this incident.

Lieutenant Faryl Fletcher, Assistant Commanding Officer, Harbor Operations Support Division, Harbor Area Homicide Detectives and the family members will be present during the press conference.
