"Child Safety Seat Check-up Opportunity"
Van Nuys: On Friday, September 29, 2000, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division Officers will be conducting a Child Safety Seat Check-up at Babies "R" Us, 7886 Van Nuys Boulevard in Van Nuys. The officers will be checking child seats for defects, misuse, recalls and answer questions regarding safety issues. The check-up is a free service to the community. Those who desire can contact Babies "R" Us to make an appointment at 818-994-2006.
