"COPS FOR TOTS 2000 CAR SHOW"
Elysian Park: On Sunday, October 1, 2000, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department Central Traffic Division will be hosting the 5th Annual Cops for Tots Car Show at The Los Angeles Police Academy, 1880 North Academy Road in Elysian Park. The event is free to the public and there will be food and live entertainment throughout the day. The Cops for Tots event has raised an incredible $80,000 over the years to benefit the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
