"Victim Shot While Sitting In Her Vehicle"

Los Angeles: On Saturday morning, September 30, 2000, at approximately 3:00am, a 35 year old female was sitting in a late model Isuzu Rodeo Sport Utility Vehicle. The vehicle was parked in front of 1337 West 49th Street and she was approached by a suspect(s) and several rounds were fired through the window of the vehicle. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition.

The motive for the shooting has not been determined and the weapon and suspect(s) are being sought.

77th Street Homicide Detectives are conducting the investigation and are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact them at 213-484-1383 or the Watch Commander at 213-485-2389.
