"Public's Assistance is Needed in Locating a Hit and Run Felony Suspect"

Valley: On Saturday, September 15, 2001, at approximately 8:00 p.m., seventy-one year old, Pura Sinsay of Reseda was crossing northbound Saticoy Street near Amigo Avenue. She was struck by a possible Chevrolet Silverado pickup, green in color. After the collision, the driver failed to stop, identify him/herself, render aid, or call for emergency medical assistance. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics transported Sinsay to Northridge Hospital where she died from her injuries.
