"77th Detectives Conduct Homicide Investigation"

 

Los Angeles: On Tuesday, September 25, 2001, at approximately 12:10 A.M., the victim, Derek Maurice Durham, 42 years old was discovered seated in driver’s side of a 1991, 4-door, Lexus which was parked in front of 1257 West 46th Street, Los Angeles. Mr. Durham had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead by responding Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics.

The motive for this crime is unknown. The suspect or suspects and the weapon used remain outstanding.

77th Street Homicide Detectives Rocky Sato and Karen Jones are conducting the investigation. Anyone with information concerning this incident is requested to call 77th Street Homicide at 213-485-1385 or, after hours, the Department Command Post at 213-485-2504.
