Los Angeles Police Chief Bernard C. Parks, other Department Personnel and Security Managers of Private Industries

Los Angeles: In our continuing effort to enhance public safety while working with the business communities of Los Angeles, the Department will be hosting another of its LEAPS seminars. The seminar will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2001, at 10:00 a.m., at the Los Angeles Police Academy.

The purpose of the LEAPS meeting is to bring security directors and the Department together and exchange information, continuing an open line of communication with private/corporate security as partners.

Although this seminar is closed to the general public, Los Angeles Police Chief Bernard C. Parks will address the media prior to the commencement of the seminar.
