Woman Shot and Killed; Unknown Motive

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting death of a female Hispanic, identification pending, which occurred on September 7, 2002, at approximately 5:00 a.m.
Wilshire Area patrol officers responded to the scene of a shooting call at 1800 South Ridgely Drive.
Upon arrival, the officers found the victim lying in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Ambulance pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
At this time there is no suspect or vehicle description.
