Driver Killed In Traffic Collision

 

Los Angeles: On September 23, 2003, at about 8:30 a.m., a fatal traffic collision occurred in the intersection of Broadway and 83rd Street in 77th Street Area.

A white Ford F150 pick-up truck was traveling northbound on Broadway when it collided with a blue Chevy Beretta, traveling westbound on 83rd Street. The driver of the Chevy, a female and local resident of the area, sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene of the traffic collision and transported the female driver of the Chevy to a local hospital where she died from her injuries. Her identity is being withheld pending the notification to her family.

The driver of the Ford remained at the scene of the collision and is cooperating with authorities.
