Fatal Collision involving a Motorized Mini Bike

Los Angeles: On Saturday, September 18, 2004, at about 5:50 p.m., a fatal traffic collision occurred at the intersection of 41st Place and Brighton Avenue, in Southwest Division.

A 10 year-old boy identified as Gary Laws, was riding a motorized mini bike northbound on Brighton Avenue. A collision occurred with a gray Nissan 300 that was traveling eastbound on 41st Street. Gary was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. Gary was a Las Vegas, Nevada resident.
