News Conference Announcing $50,000 Reward in Connection with Murder Investigation

LAPD Homicide Detectives

Why:
Mission Homicide Detectives are announcing a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a murder suspect.

Around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29th,  Ramiro Guardado, a 15-year-old resident of Sylmar, was shot to death by Manuel Virgen, also a resident of Sylmar, following a verbal dispute on Bradley Avenue.

The suspect is a 23-year-old male Hispanic with black hair and brown eyes, 5'9", 165 pounds. In the last month he was possibly seen in the city of San Fernando, and his family has been located in Michoacan, Mexico.
