Domestic Violence Leads to Death

Los Angeles: LAPD detectives are investigating the death of a 42-year-old woman that was stabbed to death in Highland Park.

On September 23, 2005, at about 5:39 p.m., officers arrived at 300 block of West Avenue 38 and discovered Gladys Quinonez suffering from multiple stabbing wounds. 

Ms. Quinonez was transported to a local hospital where she later died. 

Juan Tejada a 42 year-old male Hispanic was arrested.  The motive appears to be domestic violence.
