Why:
LAPD Chief William Bratton and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will officially unveil the LAPD’s newest technology and equipment, much of which has been purchased through funding provided by Homeland Security.

On display will be the SWAT Bear Cat (Armored Vehicle), SWAT Response Truck, Air-Ship, Bomb Squad Response Truck, and the new Public Information Office Response Vehicle.

Media parking – will be reserved at the curb below the Security Guard Office. PIOs will be on hand to assist with parking.
