Sidewalk Shooting in Venice

Los Angeles: LAPD detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding the person(s) responsible for the shooting death of 31-year-old, Adam Pacheco who was fatally shot in the Venice area.

On September 28 2008, at around 9:30 p.m., the victim, Adam Pacheco was standing in front of the “Otheroom” located in the 1400 block of Abbot Kinney Boulevard when the suspect walked up to him and shot him multiple times.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries.

An additional victim was also struck by the gunfire.  She was also transported to a local hospital where she was treated for her injuries and released.  

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic 17-18 years of age.
