Father and Son Shot While Walking NR10470ne
Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Mission Division homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help with providing any information that will lead to the person(s) responsible for the shooting of a father and son on September 28, 2010 in North Hills.
Around 8 p.m., a patrol unit responded to a shooting call in the 14800 block of Plummer Street. When the officers arrived at the scene, they found a 52-year-old father and his 15-year-old son suffering from gunshot wounds.
Paramedics rushed both victims to a local hospital where the son was pronounced dead and the father was listed in critical condition.
According to investigators, the victims were walking on the sidewalk when they were confronted by unknown assailant(s) who fired multiple shots at them. Detectives have not determined what prompted to the shooting and there is no suspect description.
