North Hollywood Man Missing Since June NR11428rf

UPDATE
February 3, 2012

On February 3, 2012, Mr. Madatyan was located at a park near his residence.  Detectives believe there are no signs of foul play that could have contributed to Madatyan’s disappearance.  Madatyan’s family said he is okay.

Los Angeles:
LAPD Missing Persons Unit detectives are hoping for public assistance in their search for 55-year-old Razmik Madatyan, a North Hollywood resident who has been missing for over two months.

Madatyan was last seen at his residence in the 6900 block of Greeley Street and hasn’t been heard from or seen since June 22.  His family is very concerned for his welfare.

He is described as Middle Eastern with gray hair, brown eyes and a height of 5 feet 6 inches.  He weighs about 190 pounds and was wearing blue jeans, a beige shirt and black shoes when last seen.

Anyone with information about Madatyan, especially his location, is urged to call Missing Persons Unit Detective Carlton at 213-996-1800.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7.  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).  Tipsters may also contact Crime Stoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone.  All text messages should begin with the letters “LAPD.” Tipsters may also go to LAPDOnline.org, click on "webtips" and follow the prompts.
