Elementary School Girl Sexually Assaulted

Los Angeles: On Tuesday, January 4, 2005, at approximately 7:30 a.m., a female elementary school student was attacked while walking to school. The assault occurred while the victim was walking through the pedestrian undercrossing at 69th Street between Grand Avenue and Flower Street. The suspect was armed with a handgun. The suspect fled the scene on foot to an unknown location.

The suspect was described as a male Black, dark skinned, black hair with “twist” in the ends, about six feet tall. The suspect was wearing a blue beanie, black hooded type sweatshirt, blue jeans and black “Adidas” brand tennis shoes.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations-South Bureau, Sexual Assault Investigation Team responded to the scene and conducted the investigation.
