"Man Hospitalized After Being Shot in Drive-By Shooting"

Harbor – On June 15, 2000 at approximately 12:30 A.M., two male Samoan juveniles were walking in the 1100 block of Wilmington Boulevard. A blue van approached the victims and two male Hispanic suspects fired several shots with an unknown caliber type handgun at the victims. Victim-1 was struck in the head and transported to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment and is in critical condition. Victim-2 was uninjured during the attack.

Detectives Paul Inabu and Jorge Arellano, Harbor Operations Support Division, are conducting the investigation on this incident.
