WHY:
Next Step Xposure to Life, Inc, Coming into Young Adulthood Organization, and 77th Street Area Community Station will hold a Youth Symposium to bring together youths from South Los Angeles to listen to motivational speakers and to participate in workshops designed to enhance self-confidence, self-empowerment, self-esteem and self-respect.  The event will be hosted by actress Nadine Velazquez of the TV show “My name is Earl.” Young women ages 13-21 are invited to participate.
