Man Found Stabbed to Death in Harbor Area NR10578cj

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police department (LAPD) Harbor Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of a suspect(s) who murdered an 18-year-old Los Angeles resident.   

On Dec. 13, 2010, at around 5:55 a.m., LAPD Harbor area patrol officers received a call of a stabbing on the 21400 block of Halldale Road.  When the officers arrived at the scene, they saw an unresponsive man lying on the ground, apparently suffering from stab wounds to his upper torso. 

Los Angeles fire department personnel responded and transported the man to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The victim was identified as an 18-year-old Hispanic man named Race Uyeki.
 
Harbor detectives believe that an unknown suspect(s) stabbed the victim numerous times and left the scene.  The suspects have not been identified and no weapons have been recovered.  The motive for this crime is unknown.
