On April 20, 2012, Mr. Robertson was found in good health.

Los Angeles:   The family of Ira James Robertson and the Los Angeles Police Department Harbor Division are asking for the public’s help to locate Robertson.

On April 19, 2012, around 11 a.m., Robertson left his residence on foot in the 360 block of Miraleste Drive in LAPD’s Harbor Area. Robertson never returned home and has not been seen or heard from since. His family is extremely concerned for his welfare because of his medical condition.

Robertson is described as a 84-year-old male African American with black hair and brown eyes. He stands about six feet four inches tall and weighs about 230 pounds. He is wearing a white shirt, blue hoodie, blue jeans, white socks and blue slippers. He wears prescription glasses with a thin black metal frame.  He also has a tattoo of a female on his left arm.

Anyone with information on Robertson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the LAPD Harbor Division at 310-726-7700.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247).  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
