LAPD 77th Street Station to Host 400 Local Kids to “Le Petit Cirque”

Performers from “Le Petit Cirque” who range in age from 7 to 14-years-old

WHY:
The Performing Animal Welfare Society “Paws” have donated tickets to this special performance of “Le Petit Cirque.”  The organization benefits rescued and retired performing animals.

The circus will also be attended by 77th Street Area and Newton Area Police Cadets.  The Police Cadet program is a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) program where police officers mentor young people between the ages of 13 and 20, instilling life skills, discipline, leadership, academic excellence and respect in furtherance of helping them reach their personal, academic and career goals. LAPD Police Cadets engage in a variety of public service efforts throughout their tenure as cadets. These efforts instill service values as well as providing additional public safety resources for the citizens of Los Angeles.
