Why:       
To offer a reward of $50,000 for information leading to the identity, arrest and prosecution of the person responsible for the murder of 40-year-old Paul T. James.

Los Angeles City Councilmember Bernard C. Parks and LAPD’s Criminal Gang and Homicide Division Detectives will announce a $50,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect responsible for the death of James T. Paul.

On October 11, 2012, around 8:45 p.m., the victim was walking in the area of 9600 block of South Hoover Street when he was approached by an individual wearing a hooded sweatshirt. The suspect fired several rounds at the victim, causing his death.
