Detectives Seek the Public’s Assistance in Identifying a Hate Crime Suspect NR19262ti

San Pedro: Los Angeles Police Department’s Major Crimes Division is seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect who targeted the residents and business owners in the San Pedro area.

On September 1, 2019 around 8:30 p.m., the suspect drove into a North/South Alley west of Pacific Avenue between 20th and 17th Street. The suspect got out of the driver’s side and began spray painting Swastikas on the walls of the residences and businesses, near the 2000 block of Pacific Avenue. At least eight locations were vandalized before the suspect fled the location in a light colored four-door sedan.

The suspect is described as a male or female who stands between 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall. Suspect was wearing a sheer stocking to obscure his or her face, a light colored long sleeve shirt, and light-colored pants.
