Read Across America

Bakewell Sr., Primary Center, 8621 Daring Cross Street, Los Angeles Ca. 90044. The event is held in memory of the beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss. Five officers from South Traffic Division have been selected to read to the students while they are in their classrooms. Each officer may bring one of their favorite stories to read, or a book will be provided for them. The classes are comprised of pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students.
The Purpose is to have a positive relationship between the school community and law enforcement.
