Collision Investigator Officer of the Year - Police Officer Christina Reveles, Serial No. 38707

It is with great pleasure that South Traffic Division (STD) recognizes Police
Officer II, Christina Reveles, Serial No. 38707, as Police Officer of the Year.  Reveles has been assigned to South Traffic Division for the past four years, and is known for her high standard of performance.   Reveles embodies every aspect of this award. Throughout her law enforcement career, Reveles has demonstrated on a daily basis what it means to be a Los Angeles Police Officer; integrity, strong work ethic, professionalism, dedication to duty and sacrifice.

Every supervisor at STD describes Reveles as an outstanding officer, who regularly volunteers to work with and train new traffic officers.  She can be counted on to accomplish any task and her investigative and report writing skills are beyond reproach.  Reveles has conducted numerous traffic collision investigations, varying from minor to serious and even fatal.  In each of those investigations, Reveles provided quality service to the involved parties and completed thorough on scene investigations and reports.

Reveles is highly respected by her peers and supervisors.  The combination of her high ethical standards and vast traffic investigation experience enables her to be an excellent mentor to other employees.  Reveles is tactically sound, shows good judgment and makes sound tactical decisions in the field.  She can also be counted on to finish any task she starts or any assignment given to her.  Reveles recently graduated from the Department’s Drug Recognition School and is now a certified Drug Recognition Expert, further enhancing her investigative abilities.

Reveles is originally from Arizona.  She moved to California in order to pursue her dream of becoming a Los Angeles Police Officer.  Reveles maintains a high level of physical fitness.  She enjoys hiking and playing basketball.
