| On October 3, 1997, at approximately 0910 hours, the suspect was driving a 1985 Ford Crown Victoria when he collided with a 1997 Nissan Maxima, injuring the driver of the Maxima. The accident occurred at Central Avenue and the westbound 105 Freeway off-ramp. Immediately following the collision, the suspect fled the scene in his vehicle failing to identify himself or render aid. The suspect returned several minutes later after a witness had escorted him back to the scene. Officers obtained the suspect’s information and he was released. After further follow-up investigation, a warrant was issued for his arrest for 20001 VC—Hit and Run, Felony. |
