"Shots Fired in Watts Results in 3 Victims in Stable Condition"

Los Angeles - On Saturday, July 29, 2000, at approximately 11:10 a.m., Southeast uniformed patrol officers responded to a radio call of " Shots Fired" in the area of 114th Street and Success Avenue. Upon officers arrival they found two victims, a 19 year-old, male Black, and a 23 year-old female Black, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The preliminary investigation revealed the victims had been shot by three (3) male Black suspects and that the shootings could be gang-related. There is no further description of the suspects.
