22-Year-Old Woman is Missing

Los Angeles: The mother of Erica Ebony Granderson and the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help in finding Erica, who has been missing since May 1, 2008. Erica was last seen at Queen Anne Park located in the 1200 block of West Boulevard in the Mid City area of Los Angeles at about 9:00 a.m.
Erica’s mother left her at the park to look for a younger sibling that had skipped school that day. Her mother then left to take her other child to school and when she returned to the park, Erica could not be located.

Erica is five feet, ten inches tall and weighs about 275 pounds and wearing a black shirt, black pants and white shoes.

Erica has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old.

A photo of Erica is available through Media Relations Section.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Erica is asked to contact Southwest Division Watch Commander at 213-485-2582 or the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at 213-485-5381. During off-hours or on weekends, calls may be directed to a 24-hour toll free number at 1-877-LAWFULL (529-3855).
