Party Turns Deadly

Los Angeles: On Saturday, March 5, 2005, a 40-year-old woman was shot to death at a private party.
At about 2:40 a.m., a social gathering was taking place in the rear patio of a residence located in the 3100 block of West 30th Street. An argument took place between two rival gangs. One gang member drew a handgun and began shooting, striking a 40-year-old woman and three additional bystanders. The 40 year-old woman was taken to a local hospital where she later died.
The other three victims were identified as one female Black, 34 years of age and two male Black ages ranging from 25 to 20 years old.
