Man Killed Helping Robbery Victim

Los Angeles: Police are searching for two gunmen that shot and killed a 31-year-old male who tried to help a robbery victim in South Los Angeles.
On March 5, 2005, at about 7:50 p.m., two men armed with handguns were robbing an 18-year-old man in the 5600 block of Clemson Street. An unidentified passerby confronted the robbers. As he fought with one suspect, the other suspect shot the passerby.
The suspects are described as two male blacks.
The 31-year-old man died at a local hospital. His name is being withheld until a family member is notified. The 18-year-old was not injured.
