"Suspect Sought in Jack in the Box Robberies"

Los Angeles: On Thursday, May 22, 2000 at approximately 9:00 P.M., an armed suspect committed a robbery at the Jack in The Box Restaurant located in the 5100 block of Jefferson Blvd. The suspect followed an employee into the work area of the store where he forced the employee to open the cash registers and took the money. The Following morning, May 23, 2000 at approximately 9:50 A.M. the store was robbed again, possibly by the same suspect.

The suspect is described an African American male, 6’0"/6"3", 200 pounds, brown eyes, black hair, 23/30 years of age.

The Detectives were able to get a surveillance tape of the incident and are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case. A copy of the videotape is available for the Press at LAPD Media Relations Section.
