Holiday Party for Youth

What:
34th Annual Holiday Party Program for Central City Youth

When:
Wednesday, December 5, 2007
9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Where:
Shrine Auditorium
700 West 32nd Street
Los Angeles, CA

Why:
The holiday show is sponsored for over 3,000 youth that reside in the Central City area of Los Angeles. The youth will enjoy an extraordinary and unique adventure courtesy of the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival. They will experience a documentary film screening, encounter real inventors, scientist, and explorers in the exhibit hall. Lunch, treats, a visit from the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile and Santa Claus will be provided courtesy of the VONS companies.

The Los Angeles Police Department, Central Area, Community Relations Office organizes the holiday program. Fundraising for the event is coordinated by the Central City Police Boosters, a non-profit organization which represents major corporations, retailers, developers, and financial institutions located in downtown, Los Angeles.
