Los Angeles: The family of 28-year-old Kyenia Hubbard and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) are requesting the public’s help in locating Hubbard, who has been missing for over a week.
On June 21, 2009, at approximately 1 p.m., Hubbard was last seen leaving her group-home residence in the 2800 block of Hillcrest Drive, located in the LAPD’s Southwest Area. Hubbard is considered at risk because she is in need of medication for a medical condition that includes mental instability.
She is described as having black hair, brown eyes, with a height of 5 feet 1 inch and weighing about 260 pounds.
Anyone who may have seen or has information about this missing person is encouraged to contact Detective Merrill of the LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit at 213-485-5381. During off-hours, calls may be directed to a 24-hour, toll-free number at 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (527-3247). Callers may also text “Crimes” with a cell phone or log on to www.lapdonline.org and click on Web tips. When using a cell phone, all messages should begin with “LAPD.” Tipsters may remain anonymous.
