Robbery Suspect Caught on Camera NR15297ml

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles
Police Department’s Southwest Division, is asking for the public’s
help in identifying a suspect whose image was captured on
surveillance video entering the Church’s Chicken located 1811 West
Jefferson Boulevard in Los Angeles.

On Sunday, August 30, 2015, at about 10:20 a.m., a suspect entered
the Church’s Chicken and waited for customers to leave. Once the
customers left, he pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded
the money from the register. The cashier handed the money to the
suspect.

The suspect then demanded more money from the second cash register.
The cashier had trouble opening the second register, and the
suspect became frustrated and fired a round from a handgun. The
cashier opened the cash register and handed the money to the
suspect.


The suspect then drove away eastbound Jefferson Boulevard, in newer
model dark blue Nissan.

The suspect is described as a male, Hispanic, 5 feet 8 inches tall,
weighing about 170-190 lbs., approximately 35 years of age, wearing
a gray baseball hat, gray long sleeved shirt and dark pants.
