About

Operations-Valley Bureau (OVB) oversees operations in the following areas: Devonshire, Foothill, Mission, North Hollywood, Topanga, Van Nuys, and West Valley. OVB has a population of roughly 1.8 million people and encompasses 226.47square miles, the largest geographic bureau in the Department.

Our diverse communities and locations include one of the largest malls in the U.S., Westfield Topanga and the Village. We are also home to Hansen Damn, Universal Studios, Lake Balboa, the NOHO Art District and the San Fernando Mission, built in 1834.
