The mission of Operations-Valley Bureau (OVB) is to support and develop all OVB personnel as we focus on:
The reduction of crime and fear of crime
The delivery of prompt, courteous and professional service to the community
Providing excellence in leadership and management
Continuing growth of community partnerships to reduce crime and address quality of life issues
Goals
We will reduce repressible violent and property crime by 10 percent.
We will increase business watch to reduce repressible crime in at least one identified business district in each Area.
We will develop a community based government system with other city entities.
We will develop a system of formal communication for the Chief of Police and OVB with the Valley Community.
We will develop a Valley Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee.
We will develop and refine a system to identify high-risk personnel.
