22-Year-Old Man Shot and Killed Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the persons responsible for the shooting death of 22-year-old Filiberto Ramos Ramirez of Arleta. On Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at about 4 p.m., Foothill patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting that occurred in the area of Woodale Avenue and Filmore Street in Arleta. When officers arrived, they found a victim of a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he later died of his injury. Investigators believe that two suspects approached Ramirez and shot him. These suspects approached and departed in a vehicle. There is currently no description of the vehicle. The suspects are described as male Hispanics and the motive of the shooting is unknown. Anyone with information is asked to contact Foothill Homicide Detectives Heather Gahry and Jose Martinez at 818-834-3115.
