LAPD Convoy Part of Charity Toy Drive NA09322ah

2009 6th Annual Motor4Toys Charity Toy Run

WHEN:    
Sunday, November 29, 2009
Depart at 8:45 a.m.

WHERE:   
Leaving- Village Coffee Roasters 23500 Mulholland Boulevard, Woodland Hills, CA.
Arriving- Toys-R-Us, 6245 Topanga Cyn Boulevard, Woodland Hills, CA

WHO:   
West Valley and Topanga Community Police Stations and Staff
        
WHY:   
Motor4Toys is a charitable foundation that has partnered with local law enforcement agencies to help collect over 30,000 toys and distribute them to families in need of assistance throughout Southern California.

A convoy of police vehicles will go from the Village Coffee Roasters parking lot to the Toys-R-Us with lights and sirens.  Hundreds of people are expected to greet the procession for toy collecting.  The toys will be distributed at a Toy Drive and Car Show held on December 6, 2009 at the Blue Cross Anthem building parking lot in Woodland Hills.
