WHY:
Members from the Valley Traffic Advisory Council will recognize civilian and sworn personnel from Valley Traffic Division (VTD) who have distinguished themselves for their outstanding work during 2009.

For reference, VTD personnel investigate crimes varying from hit and run, vehicle pursuits, drunk drivers, vehicular manslaughter and murder cases.
